My other hunch is that Gamefreak has not fully updated their Pokemon detection system on Battle Spot so that it assesses Hoopa-U's stats into being too high relative to Hoopa-C's and thus falsely considers it illegal. The only way to get Hoopa currently is powersaves or pokeHex so both will be.

Whenever I try to battle with their Unbound form I get an in-game prompt saying I cannot participate in online battles. What is so odd is that I can only battle with my Hoopas when they are in their CONFINED form. The Hoopas I have were obtained using the Wonder Card codes from ORAS Powersaves - with their OTs being Manesh and the Mighty. I am absolutely stumped as to why my Hoopa Unbounds are unable to participate in Battle Spot matches.
